The E-6100-0-24P is a turnkey HVAC system, ready to be installed on the roof of the vehicle’s cab. Because the entire system is self-contained, the operator simply needs to provide power for it to function. The unit’s main features include producing 300 CFM of airflow while achieving 15,000 BTUs per hour to keep heavy-duty vehicle operators comfortable and safe in the cab.
The roof mounted unit is self contained, incorporating a condenser, compressor and evaporator core in a single unit. A low profile plenum protrudes barely 1″ into the cab and blends easily into the headliner leaving ample head room. Frigid, high velocity air can be directed 360 degrees through the large diffusers located directly below the double blowers. Also featured is a cab air filter incorporated into the plenum.
Beyond providing a turnkey A/C solution, Red Dot’s E-6100 electric unit offers the added benefits of:
