About M-Level

The M-level motorhome levelling system offers much more than a level motorhome:

No more swaying motion in windy conditions or rocking motorhome if your partner has a disturbed night.

Once the M-Level is deployed the jacks will not retract until you want them to. Whether that’s when you select “Retract Jacks” on the handset, or if you’ve selected “Auto Retract” in the menu – so the jacks retract on ignition. Equally, with the jacks down, when you leave your motorhome to visit your favourite restaurant, take a stroll or see the sights – take the wireless handset with you! Your pride and joy is going nowhere! If you prefer to leave the handset in place then set it to require your own personal PIN code before it can be operated. If that’s too many buttons to push each time – simply switch that option off!

No more searching through the lockers for your ramps and chocks. Pull up and select Automatic Levelling. Changing a wheel can be a mammoth task. With M-Level simply manually raise the front, back, left or right of your motorhome to get easy access to any wheel. Getting that last drop of water out of the tanks can also prove a challenge. Like pouring your favourite bottle of wine – simply tilt the van to one side to let the tanks drain. Don’t let your tyres develop flat spots during long periods of storage. In “Manual Adjustment” easily lift all four (or six!) wheels off the ground for as long as you wish.

The M-level is not a concoction of different industrial systems combined together to lift your motorhome. It’s a carefully designed and considered kit with highly technical, yet simple to operate controls and hydraulics built in the heart of England by a company with a pedigree dating back to the 1960’s.

Each system goes through individual rigorous testing before being signed off and packed.

Working closely with such component suppliers gives us the confidence to offer our unrivalled Fit and Forget warranty.

Finally, choosing to fit M-level is not just an opportunity to support British Industry but, the fact that all components are UK sourced means that, in the unlikely event of a component failure, spares are readily and easily available. No waiting for three months without hydraulics, just for a little replacement widget.

FAQ’s

1. WHAT ANGLE CAN THE SYSTEM LEVEL FROM?
The system will level automatically from as much as 7° slope. If the vehicle is at a more acute angle then the system will time out and suggest using “Manual Adjustment”. The condition of the ground surface should be carefully considered before compensating for any greater angles. It may well be safer and easier to move to a more suitable position.

2. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO LEVEL?
This is dependent on the starting position of the vehicle, but an average is 60 – 90 seconds. Our test have shown that the speed at which the M-level jacks deploy gives the most accurate level on completion.

3. CAN YOU ADJUST THE JACKS MANUALLY?
Yes. It’s very simple using the wireless touchscreen handset and selecting “Manual Adjustment”. From here it’s possible to accurately lift the front, back, left, or right side of the vehicle to your required position. This is also very useful for emptying tanks, changing a tyre etc.

4.WHAT VOLTAGE WILL THE M-LEVEL OPERATE AT?
The system will operate at as 11.6 volts, but at least 12 volts is preferable. It takes its power form the engine battery and will display “Charge Engine Battery” if the voltage drops below this, in order that the engine can still be started.

6. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO INSTALL THE M-LEVEL?
This is very much dependant on the vehicle, where the system is mounted and where the handset is located. Normally we will need the vehicle for 2 days to ensure the system is fitted to the high standards we expect.

7. WHERE IS THE M-LEVEL MADE?
The M-level was designed in the UK, is built in the UK, and uses all UK sourced components.

8. DOES THE SYSTEM ADD TO MY MOTORHOME SECURITY?
The M-level is unique in as such that you have options that offer more vehicle security. You can set the system to require a personal PIN code before the handset will operate. You also have an option to set the system so that the jacks do not retract even when the ignition is switched on (an alarm and warning LED do operate at this point). So, if you leave the vehicle (with the system deployed) and take the handset with you, it’s then extremely difficult for anyone to move the vehicle.

9. WHAT HAPPENS IF I LOSE ALL POWER?
The pump assembly has a manual pump handle that can be operated to retract (or deploy) the jacks without electrical power.

10. HOW LONG IS THE WARRANTY?
The M-level is supplied with a 2 year warranty. This can be upgrade to 3 years by simply registering the system once it’s fitted.

11. CAN YOU LIFT THE VEHICLE OFF ITS WHEELS FOR WINTERISING?
Yes you can. Many of our competitors suggest this is possible, with no maintenance or consideration, for long periods. Working with a hydraulics supplier with more than two generations of experience, we know that there are actually factors it’s important to consider.

If lifting to winterise the vehicle then it’s good policy to manually lift until the tyres are just touching the ground but taking no weight. Ideally, operate the system once every few weeks to keep it lubricated and finally, spray the exposed rods with a dry PTFE lubricant (not silicone).

12. HOW MUCH WEIGHT DOES THE SYSTEM ADD TO MY VEHICLE.
This depends on the vehicle type and the brackets required. The average weight of an M-level full kit is approximately 55Kg. Bear in mind that it’s possible to remove any existing corner steadies, and there’s no longer any need to carry a jack or levelling blocks etc.
