There are many factors to consider when choosing between AHD and traditional CVBS, including compatibility with other systems and bandwidth/memory capacity if connecting to a mobile digital recorder. AHD systems will use more bandwidth for transmission and will take up more memory for the same time period. For the best HD quality results, all parts of the system should be AHD.
