The R65 regulation also measures cold start, water ingress and heat resistance.
EMC R10/ECE R10 (R10) is a United Nations regulation. It is the type-approval test for European automotive electronics. This regulation includes a diverse range of testing; including RF immunity and emissions and transient immunity and emissions. R10 approval includes a requirement for surge, burst, harmonics & flicker; it also provides advice and requirements for various electrical vehicles.
EMC 2009/19/EC is a standard regarding the electromagnetic compatibility directive.
SAE J845 is a standard set by the Society for Automotive Engineers (SAE). It regulates the design guidelines, test procedures, and performance requirements for any omnidirectional and selective coverage optical warning devices; which are used on any authorized service, maintenance and emergency vehicles.
