Diavia was established in Spain in 1986 as a subsidiary of the Italian Diavia, SpA, for the distribution in Spain of its aftermarket air conditioning equipment for vehicles, and since January 1, 2013 has been integrated into the Webasto group through its subsidiary for Spain and Portugal, Webasto Thermo & Comfort Ibérica, SLU. Over the years, the Webasto-Diavia designs have been extended to automobiles, vans, trucks and all types of vehicles, marketed both through their own network and with the agreement of numerous manufacturers and importers of vehicles and bodybuilders. Since its foundation in 1986, the company has sold more than 200,000 equipment in Spain and Portugal, becoming the leader in the aftermarket, as well as its Italian parent in the rest of Europe.
